The Artist

Bonjour! My name is Kai and I am an illustrator from Malaysia.

As long as I can remember, I’ve always loved drawing and this passion took me to art college and university. 

After almost 5 years of being caught up in the rat race, working full time as a project manager and freelancing for art projects after work hours, I finally realised this was not the life I wanted and I have decided to embrace my creative side fully.

So, I quit my job and moved to France to pursue my dream career and life. Now, I am a full-time self-employed illustrator and small creative business owner.

I also really love story writing and have written and sketched a lot of story ideas but never really get to stick with them let alone actually publishing any ... until now! 

Today, I am proud to present to you my first webcomic series on Webtoon, available in both English "At Our Place" and French "Chez Nous".

It is a light-hearted comic series that shares the slice of life of a French and Malaysian Chinese married couple, from everyday little funny moments to big culture shocks.
